MINUTES OF THE HUGO BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENTS <br /> October 26, l988 <br /> Chairman Potts called the regular meeting to order at 6:45PM. <br /> PRESENT : Ellman , Potts <br /> Motion made by Potts, seconded by Ellman to approve the minutes of <br /> September 28, l988. <br /> All aye, motion passed . <br /> Rick & Jody Lessard have applied to the city for OR variance to construct a <br /> 26' X 36 ' accessory building on their property at 7342 125th St . , zoned <br /> SFE but is 2. 79 acres in size, parcel "A" of certificate of survey dated <br /> Aug , 28, 1984 . The proposed building would be closer to the road than the <br /> principal building . The property slopes sharply in the rear making it <br /> necessary to locate the building near the front of the property . <br /> Chairman Potts inquired whether the building would be located behind a <br /> large existing pine tree. Mr. Lessard indicated the building would not <br /> and that he has chosen the proposed location because of the minimal open <br /> area available on site . Mr. Potts indicated that the building could <br /> become an eyesore and would like some screening provided . Mr . Lessard <br /> stated that he had no objection to the request of screening . <br /> Ellman made motion , seconded by Potts to recommend approval of the <br /> variance request of Rick and Jody Lessard , 7342 125th St. to construct a <br /> 26' X 36' pole building approximately 75' from the road as per site plan <br /> subject to the following conditions: <br /> 1 . Applicant plant 5 evergreens, 5' in height between the road and the <br /> proposed building for screening . Location to be approved by the city. <br /> 2. Any commercial use of the building will not be permitted .
