MINUTES OF THE HUGO BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENTS - 4-23-97 <br /> The meeting was called to order by Acting Chairman Goiffon at 6:35PM. <br /> PRESENT: Goiffon, Rubenzer, Ed Elliott, Carole LaBelle <br /> ABSENT: Brunotte <br /> Motion made by Goiffon, seconded by Rubenzer to approve the minutes of November 20, <br /> 1996 as amended. <br /> All aye, motion passed. <br /> VARIANCE REQUEST - BRIMMER <br /> Mr. Charles Brimmer is requesting a variance for construction of a steel sided 26 X 54 <br /> Sq. Ft., accessory building. The Quonset style construction of the proposed structure is <br /> not of a similar exterior to the residence. The variance to size and setback was granted in <br /> 1995. <br /> Mr. Brimmer stated that this structure would be 8' lower in height than a traditional <br /> garage, would have a would front with a single car garage, concrete floor, and will be <br /> built into the woods. He intends to install a service door and window as well. <br /> Members agreed that the new construction would be an improvement to the property with <br /> the removal of the old dilapidated garage on site currently. <br /> Motion made by Rubenzer, Goiffon to recommend approval of the variance request for <br /> Charles Brimmer, 4908 120th St., to construct a Quonset style garage on the specified <br /> address subject to the following conditions: <br /> 1. The structure is constructed according the size and setback restrictions granted by the <br /> special use permit granted in 1995. <br /> 2. The front siding be wood and match the color of the residence. <br /> 3. The existing single car garage on site be removed prior to construction of the <br /> proposed building. <br /> All aye, motion passed. <br /> Motion made by Rubenzer, seconded by Goiffon to adjourn at 6:53PM. <br /> All aye, motion passed. <br /> Carole LaBelle, Secretary <br />
