MINUTES FOR THE HUGO BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENTS MEETING OF <br /> SEPTEMBER 22, 1999 <br /> The meeting was called to order by Stoltzman at 6:30 p.m. <br /> PRESENT: Puleo, Stoltzman,Brunotte <br /> Deputy Clerk, Michele Lindau <br /> Minutes of August 25, 1999 <br /> Brunotte made motion,Puleo seconded, to approve the Board of Zoning Adjustments minutes August 25, <br /> 1999, as submitted. <br /> All AYES. Motion carried. <br /> Variance Request-Robert Hicks <br /> The Board of Zoning Adjustments considered the request of Robert Allan Hicks, 8456 132nd St.N.,to <br /> erect a 40' X 60' X 12' pole barn in front of the existing principal dwelling. The property is generally <br /> located on the north side of 132nd St.,west of Isleton Ave., and legally described as part of the north 1/2 <br /> of the SW 1/4 of Sec. 26,T3 1N,R21W. <br /> It was determined by the City Planner that the maximum combined square footage of the existing garage <br /> and the proposed pole barn would exceed the maximum allowed for accessory storage in the Rural <br /> Residential District. Mr. Hicks indicated he had no problem with adjusting the dimensions of the <br /> building to be within the allowed amount. <br /> Brunotte made motion,Puleo seconded,to recommend approval of the variance with the following <br /> conditions: <br /> 1. The combined square footage of the proposed barn and existing detached garage does not exceed <br /> 2,800 square feet. <br /> 2. The applicant must provide documentation that the on-site sewage treatment system and water <br /> system is in compliance with city and state codes. <br /> 3. The proposed pole barn be constructed to resemble the principal building in color and roof line. <br /> 4. Additional screening be provided. <br /> All AYES.
