MINUTES FOR THE HUGO BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENTS MEETING OF <br /> JANUARY26, 2000 <br /> The meeting was called to order by Stoltzman at 6:35 p.m. <br /> PRESENT: Puleo, Stoltzman <br /> Deputy Clerk,Michele Lindau <br /> ABSENT: Brunotte <br /> Minutes of September 22, 1999 <br /> Puleo made motion, Stoltzman seconded,to approve the Board of Zoning Adjustments minutes of <br /> September 22, 1999, as submitted. <br /> All AYES. Motion carried. <br /> Variance(Arcand) <br /> The Planning Commission considered the request of Jeffrey and Bernadette Arcand, 13985 Elmcrest <br /> Ave. N., for a variance to build a 36' X 56' pole barn on their 10 acres at the above address, located in <br /> the Urban Residential District, for storage of tractors and farm equipment. The would allow an <br /> additional 1,132 square feet over the maximum allowed square footage in the Urban Residential District. <br /> The property is located north of Bald Eagle Lake and south of Frenchman Road, and is legally described <br /> as part of the N 1/2 of the NW 1/4 of Sec. 30,T3 IN, R21 W. <br /> Puleo suggested the Arcands consider moving the proposed building further to the south of the northern <br /> property line to allow room for screening should a road be constructed to the north. <br /> Puleo made motion, Stoltzman seconded,to recommend approval of the variance request for a 36"X 56" <br /> pole barn with the following conditions: <br /> 1. The two temporary storage sheds located near the south property line be allowed to remain so long as <br /> they were not made permanent. <br /> 2. The proposed pole barn be constructed to resemble the principal building in color and roof line <br /> 3. Upon subdivision of the property,the pole building shall be removed unless approved by the City <br /> Council. <br /> All AYES. Motion carried <br /> Stoltzman made motion,Puleo seconded,to adjourn at 6:55 p.m. <br /> All AYES.
