Variance (Marcu) <br /> The Board of Zoning Adjustments considered the request of Al and Linda Marcu, 15350 Everton <br /> Ave. N., for a variance to build a deck on the south side of their home, two feet from the property <br /> line, where a 40' setback is required. The property is legally described as the N 1/2 of the S 1/2 of <br /> the NEI/4 of the SWI/4 of Sec. 18, T3IN. R21 W. <br /> Prior to the passing of the new zoning ordinance on July 27, 2000, the required sideyard setback <br /> was 40'. The Marcus proposed a 16' deck, which would provide a 6' setback from the property <br /> line. <br /> Stotlzman made motion, Brunotte seconded, to recommend approval of a 2-tier deck, with the <br /> lower portion of the deck to be a minimum of 4' wide, and a 6' setback from the south property <br /> line, providing the property line is established by a registered land surveyor. <br /> All Ayes.
