MINUTES <br /> HUGO BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS AND APPEALS <br /> DECEMBER 12,2002 <br /> Chairperson Schumann called the meeting to order at 6:35p.m. <br /> PRESENT: Brunotte, Puleo, Schumann <br /> ALSO PRESENT: John Rask, Community Development Director <br /> Michele Lindau, Secretary <br /> Minutes of November 14, 2002 <br /> Puleo made motion, Schumann seconded, to approve the minutes for November 14, 2002, as <br /> submitted. <br /> All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> Heimerl Variance for Porch <br /> The Board considered the request of Steve & Sheri Heimerl, 5478 157th Way Court North, for a <br /> variance for a 25.5 foot rear yard setback where 30 feet is required for construction a 12' X 16' <br /> addition to their single family home located in the Creekview Preserve Subdivision. The <br /> applicant would like to construct a 12-foot x 16-foot two-story addition. The upper portion of <br /> the addition would be off the existing kitchen and would be constructed as a four-seasons porch <br /> and the lower portion would be a future bedroom. <br /> Other than the applicant, there was no one present who wished to speak on the request. <br /> Brunotte made motion, Puleo seconded, to recommend approval of a variance for 5478 157th <br /> Way Court North. <br /> All Ayes. Motion carried. <br /> Wilsey Variance for Property Line Adiustment <br /> The Board considered the request of Andre Wilsey and Kristi Rose, 7793 132"d Street North, for <br /> a variance from the minimum lot size requirement and a variance from the minimum front lot <br /> width requirement to allow a property line adjustment between two properties, both owned by the <br /> applicant. The lot line adjustment would allow the applicant to reshape the lots to provide more <br /> contiguous usable area on each parcel. <br /> The applicant's home is located on the five-acre parcel at 7793 132'd Street North. The parcel <br /> located to the west is vacant and is approximately nine acres. After the adjustment of the <br /> property line, the acreage of both parcels would remain the same. To permit the lot line <br /> adjustment, the applicant is requesting a variance to allow a lot size less than 10 acres for each <br /> parcel, and a variance to allow less than 300 feet front lot width for one of the parcels. <br />
