Encroachment agreement to locate an accessory <br />structure within a drainage and utility easement on the property located at <br />13546 Fiona Circle North. <br />DATE: July 10, 2017 for the Council Meeting of July 17, 2017 <br />1. PROPOSED MOTION: <br />Receive approval of an encroachment agreement for Nathan Matchey for an accessory structure <br />located at 13546 Fiona Circle North for signature by Mayor and City Clerk. <br />2. OVERVIEW: <br />The applicant is requesting to construct a 260 square foot accessory structure to be located in the <br />rear yard. This property is a large residential property at .67 acres and has a drainage and utility <br />easement that covers the majority of the rear yard. The drainage and utility easement covers a <br />storm sewer pipe that connects two ponds to the north and south of the property. The accessory <br />structure would be located approximately 30 feet from the rear property line and approximately <br />20 feet from the north side property line. Staff finds that the placement of the accessory structure <br />would have no negative impact on utilities or drainage in the area. <br />3. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the City Council approve an encroachment agreement for Nathan <br />Matchey for signature by the Mayor. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />1.
