The County requires repayment of the principal upon the sale,maturity,or other transfer <br /> of the property or when the buyer no longer occupies the property as the principal residence. <br /> HomeStretch Programs, which target low-income residents, including Public Housing Assistance (PHA) <br /> residents, present information regarding the FirstHOME Programs. HomeStretch is marketed on the <br /> Washington County Housing and Redevelopment Authority website and PHA residents are mailed first <br /> time homebuyer packets. Outreach will be initiated once fiscal year funds have been received and are <br /> available to down payment and closing cost assistance - likely July/August 2006. Ramsey County will <br /> prepare news releases for general distribution including jurisdiction newsletters, local and minority- <br /> owned newspapers, and for direct mailing to mobile home communities. <br /> Location: Countywide: Exact locations will be determined by FirstHOME program participants and <br /> may be located within the cities of Afton,Bayport,Birchwood,Cottage Grove,Forest Lake,Grant,Hugo, <br /> Lake Elmo, Lake St. Croix Beach, Lakeland, Lakeland Shores,Landfall,Mahtomedi,Newport, Oak Park <br /> Heights, Oakdale, Pine Springs, St. Mary's Point, St. Paul Park, Stillwater, Willernie, or Woodbury, or <br /> the townships of Baytown,May, Scandia, Stillwater or West Lakeland.
