In 2005, <br /> PCU members, employees and volunteer Board of Directors raised thousands of dollars for local charities and <br /> donated many hours of time. Below are some of our recent contributions: <br /> Pond Cleanup a Success! <br /> PCU's Environmental Learning Center(ELC)cleanup was a great success.The Highland Park Senior High <br /> Fresh Force Group spent several hours clearing trash from the shoreline at the west end of the pond on Earih <br /> Day, Saturday,April 22.The following Thursday,4th and 51h grade students from Richardson Elementary <br /> focused on the rest of the ELC.Altogether,the groups picked up nearly 200 bags of litter,as well as some <br /> larger items, including old bicycles and a shopping cart. Several PCU employees also volunteered to cleankop <br /> ' the pond area and supervise the students. PCU provided refreshments for all volunteers and donated four `? <br /> x savings bonds to the Richardson Elementary students.A big thank you to everyone who participated in the <br /> cleanup( <br /> , <br /> r: <br /> tr; <br /> Richardson Elementary School students helped <br /> pick up litter at PCU's Environmental Learning <br /> Center in North St. Paul on April 27, 2006 <br />
