Long-Term Benefits vs. Short-Term Benefits <br /> All of the communities cite the importance that any public assistance be - <br /> given for projects that will bring a long-terns benefit to the area. These <br /> include preserving and increasing quality of life, and creating conditions for <br /> further growth in the community. <br /> 4. At this point, we would request that the County Board review these <br /> priorities to ascertain if there are areas of commonality where it would be <br /> useful to consider abatement and tax increment modifications. Agan, the <br /> ultimate outcome would be to agree on priority areas, modify the respective <br /> policies where differences currently exist, and; subsequently, develop clear <br /> methodology on how to move forward in these areas where there is <br /> essential agreement. <br /> i <br />
