Over time with the establishment of the TIF District the ideas of what the <br /> downtown should have has slightly changed. The EDA will need discuss what the <br /> current needs and desires are for the downtown as of now. This will give staff a <br /> better idea of what way to steer a developer as they become interested in the <br /> redevelopment of downtown Hugo. Staff can contact developers to get concepts <br /> for the area of downtown that the City owns as get we get an idea of what the <br /> needs and desires are. <br /> Timeline: September 2007 <br /> Activity: Market City owned properties <br /> Along with the EDA's portion of the City website and the showcase of <br /> commercial/ industrial properties, staff will provide a listing of the City owned <br /> properties that will become available as downtown redevelopment gets started. <br /> Staff will continue to work with the remaining property owners of the parcel the <br /> City would like to acquire.
