3.0 BUILDING MATERIALS ANI) DESIGN <br /> 3.10 Long, large buildings can be uninteresting if they contain large or long sections of surface <br /> area with no detailing, recesses or projections in building walls to help subdivide the massing <br /> of large buildings. This shall be avoided .Buildings shall include at least one change in both <br /> wall planes and roof lines, such as recessions and projections that provide depth. <br /> 3.11 Columns, pilasters, or vertical changes in the wall plane or texture shall be considered. <br /> 3.12 There shall be significant window coverage on each front that faces a street, commercial <br /> building or residential building.
