The agenda includes a review of the traditional city and county roles in economic development, a review of the county's TIF and Tax Abatement policies, and a discussion of a possible expanded role for the county. You are welcome to attend. The agenda will be posted on the county's website the afternoon of February 21; please check the website for the time of the workshop. We would like to schedule a meeting of the Economic Development Work Group in March to discuss what we hear from the County Board and to share key activities in each community. Please let me know which of the following dates work for you. I'd like to get a date on our calendars now as it is hard to find time in everyone's busy schedule.
