Motion carried. <br />Approval of Claims. <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Claims Roster as presented. <br />Approve Annual Performance Review for City Clerk Michele Lindau <br />Michele Lindau was hired as the new City Clerk in the City of Hugo on January 1, 2008. <br />Michele was originally hired by the City of Hugo as a part time employee in 1997 and a full time <br />employee beginning May 1, 1999. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the annual <br />performance review for City Clerk Michele Lindau. <br />Approve Annual Performance Review for Public Works Worker Paul Christianson <br />The City of Hugo hired Paul Christianson as a Public Works Worker on September 27, 2004. <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the annual performance review for Public Works <br />Worker Paul Christianson. <br />Variance for Side Yard Setback — Lakeview Family Dental, 14475 Forest Blvd. N. <br />Carrell Properties, LLC, had submitted an application for approval of a variance to construct a <br />new monument sign for Lakeview Family Dentist at 14475 Forest Boulevard North (TH61). The <br />landscaping of the existing sign extends onto the neighboring property to the south and the <br />MnDOT right-of-way to the west. Ordinance requires a ten -foot setback from all property lines. <br />The variance requested is to locate the sign five feet from the side property line, which will <br />reduce the non -conformity. Staff felt the request meets the intent of the ordinance. The Planning <br />Commission considered this request at their meeting on September 21, 2017 and recommended <br />
