Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for October 2, 2017 <br />Page 5 of 7 <br />vacant. The City Council had approved the preliminary plat and PUD for Adelaide Landing at its <br />May 1, 2017 meeting. The final plat would plat 81 lots from the Adelaide Landing preliminary <br />plat. The lots met the minimum lot standards and requirements outlined in the regulations for the <br />Adelaide Landing PUD. A few minor changes were made to the approving resolution. This was <br />removed from the agenda to allow Council to review those changes. <br />Weidt made motion, Klein seconded, to approve RESOLUTION 2017-37 APPROVING A <br />FINAL PLAT AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR OP5 ADELAIDE, LLC FOR <br />ADELAIDE LANDING. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Public Hearing on Assessments for North Sunset Lake Street Improvement Project <br />At its September 5, 2017 meeting, the Council adopted the resolution declaring costs to be <br />assessed for the North Sunset Lake Area Street Improvement Project and scheduled the hearing <br />on the proposed assessments for this evening. City Engineer Mark Erichson reviewed the pre - <br />construction and the post -construction photos of the project areas. He explained there were a <br />few items left to complete such as some shouldering, striping, and general cleanup. The total <br />project cost was $1,480,300 with $1,199,800 paid through City funds and $280,500 to be <br />assessed. According the assessment policy, each unit would be assessed $3,400. He explained <br />methods for payment stating, if assessed, the payments would be spread over a 10 -year period at <br />4.27%. <br />Mayor Weidt opened the public hearing. There were no comments, and Weidt closed the public <br />hearing. <br />Council thanked Engineering Technician Steve Duff for the worked he has done on this and prior <br />road projects. <br />Klein made motion, Miron seconded, to approve RESOLUTION 2017 — 38 RESOLUTION <br />ADOPTING ASSESSMENTS FOR THE NORTH SUNSET LAKE AREA STREET <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT. <br />Ayes: Klein, Petryk, Haas, Miron, Weidt <br />Nays: None <br />Motion carried. <br />Yellow Ribbon Network Report <br />Council Member Chuck Haas and Council Member Phil Klein reported to Council on the Yellow <br />Ribbon Network activities held recently. Haas reminded the Council of the BBQ to be held on <br />Saturday where donations were being accepted for the YRN. He thanked the Schwopes for their <br />donation of $1,450, which is a percentage of their Keller Williams Realty business profits, and <br />he thanked the Centennial Hockey Association for their $500 donation. He thanked Senate <br />District 38 for hosting the September Burger Night, and he presented pictures of the YRN's 17th <br />Welcome Home Pheasant Hunt.
