MINUTES FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2017 <br />Call to Order <br />Mayor Weidt called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Haas, Klein, Miron, Petryk, Weidt <br />ABSENT: None <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Bryan Bear, Finance Director Ron Otkin, City Attorney <br />Dave Snyder, City Engineer Mark Erichson, Planner Rachel Juba, and City Clerk Michele <br />Lindau <br />Moment of Silence JOWQ)W <br />On Sunday evening, October 1, 2017, 59 people were killed and at least 527 injured when a gunman <br />opened fire on a concert venue in Las Vegas, NV. Mayor Weidt called for a moment of silence for the <br />victims of the shooting. <br />Approval of the Minutes for the September 16, 2017 Fire Department Practice Burn <br />Klein made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the minutes for the Fire Department Practice <br />Burn on September 16, 2017 as presented. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Approval of the Minutes for the September 18, 2017 Hopkins School Open House <br />Miron made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the minutes for the Hopkins School Open <br />House on September 18, 2017 as presented. <br />All Ayes.
