2018 Goals <br />Parks, Recreation and Open Space Commission <br />Approved by the Parks Commission at their January 17, 2018 meeting <br />•Address trail and greenway connectivity with new developments. <br />• Enhance and maintain existing trails. <br />• Plan trails network in Clearwater Creek Preserve. <br />• Plan greenway corridors. <br />• Provide for the recreation needs of our diverse population. <br />• Strengthen and build partnerships to efficiently provide recreation options. <br />• Evaluate existing recreation programs and ammenities and explore new options with a <br />focus on water access. <br />• Develop a vision for future uses of the park. <br />• Promote the long-term vision and the short-term uses of the park to residents. <br />• Evaluate vegetation management and parking. <br />• Review the feasibility study. <br />• Engage with the City Council and community to look at next steps. <br />•Actively utilize the Comprehensive Plan as a planning tool. <br />• Respond to resident input. <br />• Review development applications with respect to the Parks, Trails, and Open Space <br />Plan <br />
