Unique outdoor adventure amenities <br />Recommendations: <br />Staffing <br />• It is time to start preparing for construction of the south water tower. <br />• During the Comp Plan update process, the city plans to reach out to the community for <br />ideas and guidance in setting parks priorities. <br />1. Review City Staffing structure <br />a. Eventual new PW divisions. Such as Parks, Streets, Utilities Divisions <br />b. Succession Planning (and restructuring?) due to future retirements <br />2. Review city staffing needs <br />a. Finance and Administration <br />b. Parks and Community Development <br />c. Building and Code enforcement <br />d. Economic Development? <br />3. Temporary and Seasonal employees <br />4. Review of employee benefits <br />Recommendations: The City is growing, and the staffing needs will change. Those needs won't <br />always coincide with increased revenues from increasing property valuations. <br />• The Administrator and Council will need to determine whether the existing <br />organizational structure will serve the city effectively in the future. <br />• Prepare for seamless transitions when retirements occur. <br />• Review of salary and benefits to encourage longevity. <br />Other Projects and activities <br />1.
