I.1 Discussion on Street Lighting in Dellwood Ridge
Staff has received a request from Tom Windisch, Manager of the Dellwood Ridge Home Owners
Association, for the City to pay for electricity and maintenance of the street lights in the
neighborhood. Until now, street lights within the public right-of-way in Dellwood Ridge have
been the responsibility of the neighborhood at a cost that is typically around $200 a month. Staff
has researched the history of this development and has found no reason the City should not take
on the same responsibility for these lights as the City does with all other lights located on public
streets. Staff will present this for discussion and recommends Council authorize the City to
make all future payments for electricity and maintenance of the Dellwood Ridge neighborhood
street lights.
K. 1 Update on Yellow Ribbon Network
Council Members Chuck Haas and Phil Klein will update the Council on the activities of the
Yellow Ribbon Network to date.
