I.1 Discussion on Street Lighting in Dellwood Ridge
Staff has received a request from Tom Windisch, Manager of the Dellwood Ridge Home Owners
Association, for the City to pay for electricity and maintenance of the street lights in the
neighborhood. Until now, street lights within the public right-of-way in Dellwood Ridge have
been the responsibility of the neighborhood at a cost that is typically around $200 a month. Staff
has researched the history of this development and has found no reason the City should not take
on the same responsibility for these lights as the City does with all other lights located on public
streets. Staff will present this for discussion and recommends Council authorize the City to
make all future payments for electricity and maintenance of the Dellwood Ridge neighborhood
street lights.
K. 1 Update on Yellow Ribbon Network
Council Members Chuck Haas and Phil Klein will update the Council on the activities of the
Yellow Ribbon Network to date. This was tabled at the last Council meeting.
L.2 Spring Cleanup on Saturday, April 21, 2018
The City and Washington County will hold their annual Spring Cleanup on Saturday, April 21,
2018, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Hugo Public Works building
1.3 Kidz `n Biz on Saturday, April 28, 2018
The Hugo Area Business Association will hold their annual Kidz `n Biz event on Saturday, April
28, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Oneka Elementary School. Staff recommends
Council schedule this as a meeting if they choose to attend.
M.1 EXECUTIVE SESSION ON THE WHITE BEAR LAKE LAWSUIT
At its March 5, 2018, meeting, Council discussed appealing the conditions placed on the City's
appropriations permits. A motion was made to prepare for an appeal and present it to the
Council at this meeting in an executive session. City Attorney will brief the Council on the
appeal and contested case hearing. An executive session may not be necessary if Council
chooses to have this discussion in open session.
N. ADJOURNMENT
