Impacts are to two (2) separate basins on the
property and will impact Wetland No. 2 in its entirety, and a portion of Wetland No. 1. The remaining
wetland on the property is not proposed to be impacted.
Schwieters is proposing to replace the 1.58 acres of impact to Wetland No. 1 and Wetland No. 2 through
the purchase of 3.16 acres of wetland credit from an existing approved wetland bank in Washington
County.
Based on my review of the application and supporting documentation, the requirements under the MN
Wetland Conservation Act have been met. The Notice of Decision and supporting documentation are
attached to this memo.
I recommend approval of the Schwieters Joint Application for sequencing and wetland replacement.
If additional information is required I can be contacted at (612)246-9346 or thavranek(cDwsbeng.com.
Attachments:
Notice of Decision for Schwieters Joint Application
MN Joint Application for Activities Affecting Water Resources
Building a legacy —your legacy.
Equal Opportunity Employer I wsbeng.com
K1011371-000\Admin\Permits\17.18 Molitor Property\Replacement Plan\Memorandum_HugoCityCouncil_SchwietersExpansion_032818.docx
