<br />Frank Langer, age 75 of Scandia, MN passed away at home on
<br />April 30, 2018. He proudly served his country in the United
<br />States Army. Frank was the local assessor for multiple cities in
<br />Washington County, some for over 40 years. He valued the
<br />many long term relationships he developed over time, working'',
<br />with the local communities.

<br />Frank liked nothing better than to spend time with his friends_'
<br />and family, enjoying good food and laughter. He was an avid
<br />,, J6t.
<br />pilot who owned his own plane in Osceola, WI for many years.
<br />He also enjoyed classic cars, motorcycles, boating, traveling
<br />$ ry# I ON
<br />with his friends and family and trips to Las Vegas with his
<br />buddies.
<br />Frank was always available for a word of advice, a helping hand,
<br />a good story, a laugh when needed and the ability to put life's struggles into perspective. While we
<br />will all miss the great man that Frank was, we will remember that he truly lived each moment that
<br />he was with us.
<br />He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Anne Winn. Survived by loving wife of 52
<br />years, Michele, and their children, Nick (Lidia), Kathleen (Dan) Pohlen, Kristin (Chris) Beckwith,
<br />Jason and James; seven grandchildren; Robert Pohlen, Samantha Pohlen, Dylan Langer, Zach and
<br />Roman Langer, Nicky Langer, Christina Langer, Barrett Beckwith; brother, Gerard; many nieces,
<br />nephews and other extended family.
<br />Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Church of
<br />Saint Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
<br />on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake and one
<br />hour prior on Saturday at the Church. Interment at Elim Lutheran Cemetery.
