Adelaide Landing 2nd Addition Final Plat and Development <br />Agreement <br />DATE: M ay 1, 2018, for the City Counci I M eeti ng of M ay 7, 2018 <br />1. PROPOSED MOTION: <br />Move to approve the resolution approving the Final Plat for Adelaide Landing 2nd Addition. <br />Approval of the Final Plat requires a 3/5 vote of the City Council. <br />2. DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: <br />The applicant is requesting approval of a final plat in order to plat 70 lots and 5 outlots on the 75 <br />acre parcel located east of Highway 61 and north of 130th Street, which will develop a portion of <br />Outlot A, Adelaide Landing. The site is currently vacant. <br />3. BACKGROUND: <br />The City Council reviewed the preliminary plat and PUD for Adelaide Landing at its May 1, <br />2017 meeting. At its October 2, 2017, meeting the City Council approved the final plat for the <br />first phase of the development consisting of 81 residential lots. This final plat request will plat 70 <br />additional lots from the Adelaide Landing preliminary plat. The lots meet the minimum lot <br />standards and requirements outlined in the regulations for the Adelaide Landing PUD. <br />The park dedication requirement will be met by fee for a total of $78,960 ($1,128 per unit). The <br />park dedication fee is reduced to accommodate for a portion of the land being dedicate with this <br />plat and the remainder with the third phase. <br />4. RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends approval the resolution approving the Final Plat and Development Agreement <br />for Adelaide Landing 2nd Addition. <br />
