RESOLUTION 2018 - 4 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO <br /> APPROVING A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE FOR THE CITY OF HUGO <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Hugo initiated an update to its Comprehensive Plan in 2017, <br /> consistent with the requirement in state law; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has held numerous open houses, workshops and meeting to discuss <br /> each element of the plan; and; <br /> WHEREAS, the City has communicated to residents, property owners and other <br /> stakeholders through individual inquiries, mailed notices, newsletters,the City website <br /> and news releases to local press; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City may continue to make non-substantive changes to the <br /> Comprehensive Plan Update; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the Plan at a duly called Public Hearing <br /> and recommends approval; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the 2040 <br /> Hugo Comprehensive Plan update. <br /> FURTHER, approval of the Comprehensive Plan update is contingent upon the required <br /> six-month review by adjacent and affected jurisdictions; and <br /> FURTHER, approval of the Comprehensive Plan update is contingent upon, and subject <br /> to, the required review and response by the Metropolitan Council. <br /> WHEREUPON, a vote being taken upon the motion, the following members voted in <br /> favor: Haas, Klein, Miron, Petryk, Weidt <br /> The following voted against: None <br /> ADOPTED by the City Council this 2 day of April, 2018. <br /> Tom Weidt, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> �-Jm . ��� <br /> Michele Lindau, City Clerk <br />
