Government Building. The public is
invited and expected to attend.
Deputy Yetter was nominated by his Sargent Joel Legut for his outstanding
service to youth. Deputy Brandon Yetter has served the Scandia, MN community
and Washington County for 6 years. He has built a strong and lasting relationship
with youth and families in the community through the following activities:
• Teaching DARE to the youth at the local school in a way that engages the
youth and captures their attention and builds their excitement and ability to
stand up for themselves.
• Taking time out of his day to stop at the school for lunch with the kids and to
play with them on the playground.
• Stopping at the local parks to engage with youth, teens and their families
making sure they are all doing well.
• He is recognized in the Scandia Community as someone they can lean on
and trust when assistance is needed. They count on him to keep them
strong and guide them in the right direction.
• He is heavily involved in community engagement throughout the county
through programs like: Fish with a Cop, Shop with a Cop, Cones with a Cop,
Night to Unite, giving community presentations on safety and other topics,
the County Fair and much more.
* 1
