RESOLUTION 2018-30 <br />APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR SCOTT KERSTEN TO <br />ALLOW AN EXPANSION OF A LEGAL NON -CONFORMING INDUSTRIAL <br />USE ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 5725 148th STREET NORTH <br />WHEREAS, Scott Kersten, requested approval of a conditional use permit to allow an <br />expansion of a legal non -conforming industrial use on the property located at 5725 1481h <br />Street North <br />(See attached Exhibit A) <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said conditional use permit at a duly <br />called public hearing on September 13, 2018, and recommends approval subject to the <br />conditions listed in the conditional use permit. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the <br />conditional use permit for Scott Kersten to allow an expansion of a legal non -conforming <br />industrial use on the property located at 5725 148th Street North with the following <br />findings: <br />1. The expansion will reduce the impacts of the legal non -conforming use <br />from the surrounding properties by reducing activity, traffic, and outdoor <br />vehicle storage. <br />ADOPTED by the City Council this 1 st day of October, 20 <br />Tom Weidt, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Michele Lindau, City Clerk <br />
