<br />Page 1 of 2 <br />Parks Commission Minutes <br />July 18, 2018 <br /> <br />Minutes <br />Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Commission <br />Meeting of July 18, 2018 <br />Hugo City Hall, 7:00 pm <br /> <br />Present: Dave Strub, Roger Clarke, Cathy Moore – Arcand, Ranell Tennyson, <br /> <br />Absent: Mat Rauschendorfer, Nicole Schmid <br /> <br />Staff Present: Shayla Denaway, Parks Planner <br /> Scott Anderson, Public Works Director <br /> Debi Close, Secretary <br /> <br />Strub called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. <br /> <br />1. Approval of Minutes from the June 20, 2018 Meeting <br /> <br />Moore – Arcand made a motion, Tennyson seconded to approve the minutes of the June 20, 2018 Parks <br />Commission meeting. <br /> <br />Ayes: Moore – Arcand, Tennyson, Strub <br />Abstained: Clarke <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />2. Hopkins Schoolhouse Committee <br /> <br />Parks Planner Shayla Denaway informed that the Council approved formation of a committee to work on <br />several items related to the Hopkins schoolhouse including fixing the roof, pursuing listing on the National <br />Register, and evaluating a public-private partnership. The Council is looking to have a Parks Commission <br />member serve on the Hopkins Schoolhouse Committee. <br /> <br />Strub made a motion, Tennyson seconded to approve Moore – Arcand to represent the Parks Commission on <br />the Hopkins Schoolhouse Committee. <br /> <br />All Aye. Motion Carried. <br /> <br /> <br />3. Park Project Updates <br />
