Parks Commission discussion included a request to install exercise equipment as space allows. The <br />Commission was also in favor of purchasing large shade trees as possible. <br />Tennyson made a motion, Moore —Arcand seconded to approve the neighborhood parks upgrades as <br />outlined. <br />All Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />3. Active Living Grant, Clearwater Creek Preserve Master Planning <br />Denaway presented the action plan for the Washington County Active Living Grant Program. Funding was <br />received to master plan Clearwater Creek Park Preserve up to $15,000. The action plan includes site <br />evaluation, community engagement, drafting a master plan, and preparation of a partial design document. <br />Open floor discussion included: Feasibility study, partial grading, trail construction, surfaces, options of <br />crossing the creek <br />Moore-Arcand Made a motion, Rauschendorfer seconded to approve moving forward with master planning <br />Clearwater Creek Preserve. <br />All Ayes. Motion Carried. <br />4. Recreation Program Update <br />Denaway updated on the recreation programs currently scheduled. <br />February 26, 2018 - Z Juggling Rosenschnoz <br />March 6, 2018- Dementia Discussion <br />March 23, 2018 — Family Movie Night showing the Boss Baby <br />Sledding Party canceled - unpredictable weather. <br />Upcoming summer programs include: <br />Park Play Days, Tech Tac Toe, Outdoor Family Movie Night, Kidz N Biz, an outdoor family concert, and the <br />Tour De Hugo. The Clean Up Events will be April 28 and October 6 <br />5. Adjournment <br />Schmid made a motion, Rauschendorfer seconded to adjourn the meeting at 8:02 pm. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />
