I work with Jeremy Porter he told me to send these <br />pictures of the playground across from Hugo city hall to you. <br />We live only a couple houses away and with a young child she loves that playground <br />but we refuse to even go there anymore just because of the condition its is and all <br />the other parks around the Hugo area are brand new especially with the new <br />developments forming. I know this is one of the older parks in the city, but so many <br />fun events happen in Lions park and hate to see people turned away from it because <br />of the condition things are in. <br />I know a while back we heard of a ten year plan to change Lions park and when I <br />went to national night out a few people were talking about that, that is why people <br />seem to believe something soon will happen to Lions Park but no ones certain. <br />But here are some pictures I took last summer of the park. <br />The slide is completely cracked in the one picture, the wires are showing on those <br />climbing ropes all over the playground, the bridge has a very big gap in it my <br />daughters foot got stuck in it, and the handle bar on top of one of the slides was <br />broke and last summer looks like someone tapped it with duck tape. (not pictured) - <br />Nails that support the beams for the wood chips are pulling up from the beams, and <br />wood chips filling needs to be filled in more. <br />Thank you! <br />
