1.23 "Member Representative" is the person, and/or alternative person, registered <br /> pursuant to Section 2.2 of the Master Bylaws to cast a Member's vote in matters to be voted <br /> upon by Members of the Master Association. <br /> 1.24 "Mortgagee"means a Person that is the holder of a loan secured by a mortgage on <br /> any Unit, and its successors and assigns. <br /> 1.25 "Neighborhood" a part of the Property, containing one or more Units, that is <br /> designated as a Neighborhood in accordance with Section 3.3. <br /> 1.26 "Neighborhood Assessment" means a Master Assessment levied against a certain <br /> Neighborhood Association, but not all Neighborhood Associations, in accordance with Section <br /> 6.4. <br /> 1.27 "Neighborhood Association" means an owners' association governing a certain <br /> Neighborhood. <br /> 1.28 "Neighborhood Board" means the Board of Directors of a Neighborhood <br /> Association. <br /> 1.29 "Neighborhood Common Expenses" means all expenditures made or liabilities <br /> incurred by a Neighborhood Association for the benefit of that Neighborhood, and incident to the <br /> operation of that Neighborhood. <br /> 1.30 "Neighborhood Declaration" means a declaration or similar recorded instrument <br /> containing covenants, conditions, restrictions and easements establishing or governing a certain <br /> Neighborhood. <br /> 1.31 "Neighborhood Developer" means a Person (i)that acquires Property from the <br /> Master Developer for development of a Neighborhood, and (ii) that is named as the developer or <br /> declarant in a Neighborhood Declaration relating to the acquired Property. <br /> 1.32 "Neighborhood Governing Documents" means the articles of incorporation, <br /> bylaws, and Neighborhood Declaration, creating or governing a Neighborhood. <br /> 1.33 "Neighborhood Property"means real property which is subject to a Neighborhood <br /> Declaration. <br /> 1.34 "Neighborhood Rules" means rules approved from time to time by a <br /> Neighborhood Board, which only apply to a particular Neighborhood. <br /> 1.35 "Occupant"means any person other than an Owner occupying a Dwelling. <br /> 1.36 "Owner" means the owner of a Unit. The term "Owner" shall exclude <br /> Mortgagees, contract for deed vendors, holders of reversionary or remainder interests and other <br /> secured parties within the meaning of MCIOA. The term "Owner" includes contract for deed <br /> vendees and holders of a life estate. <br /> 1.37 "Person" means a natural person, corporation, limited liability company, <br /> partnership, limited liability partnership, trust or other legal entity. <br /> 4 <br /> 219o398.v1 <br />
