The <br />maximum height of parking lot lighting adjacent to residential areas shall be 20 feet. <br />(6) Landscaping of all parking areas and loading docks is required to meet the standard found in <br />section 90-181. <br />(7) Within the shoreland district of the city, parking areas, driveways, access roads, and loading areas <br />shall be: <br />a. Constructed to make use of existing topography and vegetative screening to shield such <br />facilities from view off the public waterbody, as much as feasible. <br />b. Setback from the ordinary high-water level to the same extent as required structures in <br />subsection 90-137(1). <br />c. Constructed to avoid bluff impact zones and shore impact zones. <br />(8) Within any residential zoning district, parking of any truck or vehicle exceeding 9,200 pounds <br />licensed gross vehicle weight on any property or public street is prohibited, except under the <br />following conditions: <br />a. Vehicles lawfully delivering goods, products, or services to a property may be parked for a <br />reasonable period of time on the property or adjacent street to deliver such goods, products <br />or services. <br />b. Vehicles used in construction activities may be parked or stored on the site of such <br />construction activities for a reasonable period of time to complete the work. Parking of these <br />vehicles on a city street is allowed only by permit issued by the city engineer. <br />c. Vehicles primarily used in the conduct of agricultural activities may be parked on the property <br />where the agricultural activities are undertaken, or the farmstead of the vehicle owner. <br />d. Licensed recreational vehicles stored inside a building or on lots exceeding 2'/2 acres in size. <br />Page 6 <br />
