Housing Needs <br />Household Forecasts <br />The Metropolitan Council projects that Hugo will continue to grow and <br />that additional housing supply will be needed to meet that demand, as <br />shown in Table xx — Projected Number of Households in Hugo. For the <br />2030 Comprehensive Plan, the Metropolitan Council asked the City <br />of Hugo to plan services for 15,600 households by 2030, and revised <br />estimated growth to 11,900 households for by 2040. However, the City <br />anticipates continued robust growth and will plan service levels to the <br />expected household growth of 15,600 units anticipated in the 2030 <br />Comprehensive Plan.
