• <br />■ <br />• <br />165th & Fenwa <br />r <br />Staff heard feedback from landowners that there may be interest in developing properties, <br />however, Sanitary Sewer has not yet been extended to that area. Staff met with some of <br />the landowners and none of the landowners requested a change in land use. Based on <br />feedback, staff determined that no changes to land use in this area will be initiated. <br />Elmcrest North of Frenchman Road <br />Staff reviewed the land uses along Elmcrest North of Frenchman Road for compatibility <br />with land use updates in Lino Lakes and determined that land uses would be compatible. <br />Therefore, no changes to the land use would be required at this time. <br />The goal for the meeting is to approve the draft 2040 Comprehensive Plan to be presented at a <br />Public Open House on February 26, 2018. It is important to note that the Commission is seeing the <br />first draft of the 2040 Comprehensive Plan and that the project team will be editing the document for <br />clarity and consistency prior to the Open House. We are asking the Commission to approve the <br />framework of the plan for public review and to provide any suggested changes that should be <br />incorporated prior to the public hearing next spring. <br />3. Action Items: <br />Approve preliminary updates to the 2040 Comprehensive Plan and direct staff to finalize <br />implementation steps and final document. <br />Attachments <br />a.
