(e) Connection restrictions. No connection of any building sewer to any sewer service line shall be made by any person other <br />than an employee of the city, or a licensed sewer installer, and all such connections shall be made under dry conditions, either <br />naturally occurring or by dewatering, and in the presence of the city inspector. <br />(Prior Code, § 230-120) <br />Sec. 82-108. - Abnormal and prohibited discharges. <br />(1) Stormwater. No stormwater, surface water, groundwater, or run-off, subsurface drainage, cooling water or unpolluted <br />industrial process waters shall be discharged or caused to be discharged into said sanitary sewer system. <br />(2) Roof and surface water. No roof or surface water drains shall be connected or directed to drain into the sanitary sewer <br />system. <br />(Prior Code, § 230-130) <br />In addition, as mentioned previously, the City televises its sanitary sewer mains in conjunction with its street and utility improvement projects. As <br />issues are identified by the televising, corrective measures are initiated for the affected sewer or with the affected property owner.
