Economic Overview <br />The following section provides an overview of the existing businesses <br />and industries in the community and identifies current employment <br />trends, economic development initiatives and other applicable factors. <br />In addition to population and housing forecasts, the Metropolitan <br />Council also provides employment forecasts. The forecasts indicate <br />that about 500 jobs will be added to the economy every ten years.
