Good schools. —Ben Krull, 15350 <br />Everton <br />It use to have a country feel to it before you started over developement <br />1) Location and proximity to both downtowns. 2) Small town community attitude and direction. 3) <br />Progressive environmental attitude toward stormwater reuse, parks and trails. 4) Community involvement <br />and programs within Hugo (Fair, tour de Hugo, Medallion hunt) etc. 5) A well rooted community with <br />generations of families that have stayed here. 6) responsible business solicitation/ not an overwhelming <br />amount of 1 type of business, negative example would be the amount of car dealerships in maplewood 7) <br />Excellent building potential 8) Professional and helpful Building/ Permit department <br />—Thomas Zollinger, 5040 165th St <br />1. Preserved natural resources; forests, wetlands, prairies, etc. 2. Hugo has plenty of wildlife and preserves <br />wildlife habitat (similar to above comment). Very fun to watch wildlife in backyard. 3. Low density housing <br />with land. 4. Hugo maintains a fairly peaceful, rural community. 5. Hugo removes snow from main roads/ <br />well traveled roads well in the winter time. 6. Hugo has a great and informative City Newsletter for citizens. <br />7.
