Washington County, and others for the purpose of developing concurrence on <br />perspectives regarding the use of various BMPs in this area. <br />Task 5: Develop Specific Projects for Implementation <br />Based on the information collected in previous tasks along with input from stakeholders, <br />the opportunities that are available to construct regional storm water management <br />projects were identified. The City of Hugo focused on projects that employed water <br />reuse, enhanced storm water treatment, infiltration, and wetland restoration to meet these <br />goals. <br />The RCWD staffs also worked to identify specific projects that they were interested in <br />implementing. Both parties worked collaboratively to develop these projects for <br />inclusion within this Capital Improvement Plan. <br />The City of Hugo identified projects as part of this effort and for each project concept <br />level design information was developed. Three meetings were held with the RCWD staff <br />to collaboratively develop this information. <br />Task 6: Evaluate Potential Project Cost vs. Benefits <br />For each of the projects identified the estimated pollutant removal capabilities, cost for <br />construction, benefits and maintenance costs were evaluated. This information was <br />reviewed, and meetings were held between the City and the RCWD staff for the purpose <br />of prioritizing these potential capital improvement projects. <br />Task 7: Complete Storm Water Capital Improvement Plan <br />Based on a compilation of information developed in the previous tasks, the City of Hugo <br />developed a formal Capital Improvement Plan that summarized the results of the study. <br />The plans includes a description of the various potential capital improvements, their costs <br />and benefits, a description of how the project will be funded, and a description of the City <br />or RCWD's interest and ranking of the project relative to other projects. <br />Task 8: Receive Acceptance of Final Capital Improvement Plan from Stakeholders <br />Once the Storm Water Capital Improvement Plan was developed, the plan was submitted <br />for final review by stakeholders as part of the incorporation of this information into the <br />City of Hugo's Storm Water Plan.
