Project Number: 19 Project Priority: High Abbreviated Description of Project/BMP: Pump excess stormwater runoff volume from Bald Eagle Lake, remove phosphorus from the water through the utilization of a flocculation treatment system and then convey it to White Bear Lake. Full Description of Project: This project consists of building a system to pump water from Bald Eagle Lake when the lake is overflowing into Clearwater Creek, treat this water through the use of a flocculation treatment system so that phosphorus concentration levels are near detection limits (less than 40 ppm) and then convey this water to the south into White Bear Lake. This project would have multiple benefits including the runoff volume and pollutant load discharged downstream to the Peltier/Centerville Lake System, add water to White Bear Lake, and remove internal phosphorus load within Bald Eagle Lake. As a result, the quality of water in Bald Eagle Lake, Peltier/Centerville Chain of Lakes, and White Bear Lake can be improved as well as increasing the water levels in White Bear Lake. Design Parameters: Diversion/Water Re-Use/Lake Level Augmentation Project Location: Section 31, Township 31N, Range 21W and other sections as deemed reasonable and practical.
