January 28, 2019 RCWD Information Meeting on JD3 Maintenance <br />Staff recommends Council approve the above minutes as presented. <br />F.2 Parks Commission Annual Report <br />Parks Planner Shayla Denaway will present the 2018 Parks Commission Annual Report. <br />G.1 Approval of Claims <br />Staff recommends Council approve the Claims Roster as presented. <br />G.2 Approve Annual Performance Review for Public Works Worker Neal Nelson <br />Neal Nelson was hired on January 3, 2017, as a Public Works Worker. Public Works Director <br />recommends Council approve the Annual Performance Review Neal Nelson. <br />G.3 Approve Agreement with Northeast Youth and Family Services <br />Northeast Youth and Family Services (NYFS), located in White Bear Lake, has been providing <br />counseling services to youth and families in the City of Hugo for many years. The City has paid <br />NYFS $6,000 annually since the year 2009, and NYFS will continue providing service at that <br />amount. Staff recommends Council approve the agreement with NYFS for counseling services <br />for 2019. <br />GA Approve Agreement with Lakes Center for Youth & Families, Inc. <br />The Lakes Center for Youth & Family Services, located in Forest Lake, has been providing <br />counseling services to youth and families in the City of Hugo for many years. The <br />City has paid the Lakes Center $6,000 annually since the year 2009, and the Lakes Center will <br />continue providing service at that amount. Staff recommends Council approve the agreement <br />with Lakes Center for counseling services for 2019. <br />G.5 Approve CUP Review for Tom and Joanne Benick - 5777 165th Street North <br />Thommes and Thomas Land Clearing, operated by Tom and Joanne Benick, has a conditional <br />use permit (CUP) to allow for the processing and storage of firewood, recycling of tree waste, <br />and wood chipping at 5777 165th Street North. Staff visited the property on January 2, 2019, and <br />is not aware of any complaints or violations on site. The Planning Commission considered this at <br />their meeting on January 24, 20199, and recommended approval of the review of the CUP. Staff <br />recommends Council approve the review of the CUP for Tom and Joanne Benick. <br />
