Effective April 28, 2015 Chapter Four Subsurface Sewage Treatment System Regulations <br />(7) Location. Holding tanks must be located in an area readily accessible to the pump truck under all <br />weather conditions and where accidental spillage during pumping will not create a nuisance and <br />must meet the setback requirements of Table V. <br />(8) Alarm Required. Holding tanks must have an alarm device to minimize the chance of accidental <br />sewage overflow unless regularly scheduled pumping is used. An alarm device shall identify when <br />the holding tank is at 75 percent capacity. <br />(9) Maintenance Contract. A contract for disposal and treatment of the septage shall be maintained <br />by the owner with a licensed Maintainer. <br />75 Washington County Development Code <br />
