Effective April 28, 2015 Chapter Four Subsurface Sewage Treatment System Regulations <br />23.8 Required Application Methods <br />(1) Land application methods must comply with Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 40, Part 503 for <br />pathogen reduction, vector attraction, and for maximum volume of septage that may be applied to <br />any site during a 365 day period. <br />(2) When soils are snow covered or frozen, the application rate is limited to 10,000 gallons per acre or <br />less, and application is only allowed on slopes of 2 percent or less.
