PLANNING COMMISSION UPDATE: <br />At its January 10, 2019 meeting, the Planning Commission considered the review of the special <br />use permit (SUP). President of the BESA, David Arcand, was there to address the Planning <br />Commission stated that he will maintain and fix the surrounding fence where necessary. The <br />Planning Commission recommended approval of the review of the SUP with the understanding <br />that the fence will be properly maintained. <br />2. OVERVIEW: <br />The Bald Eagle Sportsmen's Association (BESA) has a SUP to operate a gun club on property <br />located at 6557 125th Street (see attached permit). Condition 19 of the permit states that it shall <br />be reviewed prior to December 1st of the even -numbered years, or if the SUP is amended or <br />violated. There have been no changes on the property since the SUP was last amended on <br />September 22, 2016 when an additional building was added. <br />3. ANALYSIS: <br />Staff visited the gun club on December 17, 2018 and noted areas of the fence that need to be <br />repaired along 125th Street. The property is generally maintained and meets the remaining <br />conditions outlined in their SUP. Staff is not aware of any complaints or violations to the <br />operation of the Bald Eagle Sportsmen's Association. <br />4. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br />
