Right-of-way and Telecommunications Ordinance Text Amendment <br />Page 4 <br />50 feet in height unless the City has given written authorization. The City may also require <br />reasonable separation requirement between support structures. <br />For any small wireless facility collocated on a City -owned structure, the applicant will be <br />required to pay up to $150 per year for rent, $25 per year for maintenance fees, and a <br />monthly fee for electrical service if not purchased directly from a utility. Regardless if the <br />applicant is collocating or proposing to erect a wireless support structure, a small wireless <br />permit fee is set forth by the City's annual fee schedule and is set at $1,000 for 2019. <br />B. Chapter 74 Telecommunications, Article II Telecommunications Installation <br />Requirements <br />Because of the revisions made to the ROW ordinance, a few minor revisions were required to <br />the telecommunication ordinance. <br />4. CONCLUSION/RECOMMENDATION: <br />The ORC reviewed the right-of-way and telecommunication ordinances and recommended <br />approval of the revisions to the Planning Commission. <br />Staff recommends approval of the proposed text amendments to the right-of-way and <br />telecommunication ordinances. <br />5.
