CITY OF HUGO <br />RESOLUTION NO.2019- <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br />WITH THE CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />24TH AVENUE/ELMCREST AVENUE AND EAST CEDAR STREET <br />WHEREAS, Hugo and Lino Lakes have received property owner requests from both <br />communities to pave the gravel sections of 24th Avenue/Ehncrest Avenue and East Cedar Street; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes and the City of Hugo mutually agree that it is in the best <br />interest of both Cities to pave these gravel sections of roadway; and <br />WHEREAS, subject to the terms of the Joint Powers Agreement, Hugo and Lino Lakes are <br />assuming and apportioning responsibility for the design and construction of the Project both within <br />the corporate limits of Hugo and Lino Lakes; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Hugo approve <br />this Joint Powers Agreement with the City of Lino Lakes for improvements to 24th <br />Avenue/Elmcrest Avenue and East Cedar Street. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Hugo this 18t' day of March, 2019. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />and was duly seconded by Council Member and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof. <br />The following voted against same: <br />Tom Weidt, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Michele Lindau, City Clerk <br />
