RESOLUTION NO. 2019-8 <br />CITY OF HUGO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING NEGOTIATIONS AND/OR EMINENT DOMAIN TO <br />AQUIRE THE PROPERTY <br />AREAS NEEDED FOR THE 130TH STEET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, The City of Hugo has initiated the 130TH Street Improvement Project (the Project), <br />including reconstruction of 130th Street; a roundabout at the intersection of 130th Street and Flay <br />Avenue; realignment of the intersection at 130th Street and Goodview Avenue; street and utility <br />construction; new pedestrian facilities; and <br />WHEREAS, the construction schedule for the Project contemplates that the Project will be <br />completed during the 2019 construction season; and <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City obtain title and possession of the areas identified in <br />Exhibit A for the parcel as shown below: <br />$25,100.00 — Parcel 3 — Kevin Peltier — PID #29.031.21.44.0001 <br />by negotiation where the owner has agreed to the amount identified above. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />HUGO, MINNESOTA acquisition is hereby authorized as follows: <br />Offers are made for the necessary easements for the parcels identified in Exhibit A, <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statute. <br />This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of Hugo on the 4th day of March, <br />2019, by a vote of four Ayes and No Nays <br />n <br />Tom Weidt, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />- A� <br />Michele Lindau, City Clerk <br />
