MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS OF HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> JANUARY 8, 1974 <br /> The meeting was called to order at 8:02 P.M. by Chairman Dan <br /> Spitzer. Members present were: Spitzer, Ehret, Leroux (arrived <br /> at 9:07) , Rosenquist and Peloquin. Also present were Irene <br /> Leroux, City Council Member and Bill Schwab, City Planning <br /> Consultant. <br /> Motion made by Ehret, seconded by Peloquin, to approve minutes <br /> of December 11, 1973 meeting with the following change: <br /> Pending receipt of the additional information, we <br /> will lay the matter over until January 8th of the <br /> Lametti & Sons Construction Company' s request for <br /> an amended Special Use Permit. <br /> Mr. Vern Peloquin was appointed by the City Council as a new <br /> member of the Planning Commission to take the seat of Mr. <br /> Craig Paulson. <br /> Lame tti & Sons Construction <br /> Jerry Lametti represented the Lametti & Sons Construction <br /> Company's request for an amended Special Use Permit. Mr. <br /> Lametti stated they were unable to locate the existing Special <br /> Use Permit. <br /> Mr. Schwab stated he and Carl Dale had met with Mr. Lame tti <br /> January 7, and discussed their proposals and examined the <br /> steel building constructed on their property. Mr. Schwab said <br /> there was nothing wrong with the building. Mr. Dale had suggested <br /> the possibility of zoning this area industrial. It was suggested <br /> that Mr. Lametti go back to his planner for a thorough development <br /> plan for his entire tract of land. <br /> Motion made by Peloquin, seconded by Rosenquist, to amend the <br /> Lametti Special Use Permit for open storage of sewage construc- <br /> tion materials to include the construction of a steel storage shed <br /> on the south half of the property. Members for: Rosenquist, <br /> Peloquin, Ehret and Spitzer. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Mr. Lametti showed general plans for office and shop buildings <br /> to the Planning Commission. <br /> Mr. Lametti was asked to contact the adjoining property owners <br /> and obtain a comprehensive plan for the area to be zoned industrial, <br /> and also the possibility of a public road be built to 165th Street. <br /> Motion made by Ehret, seconded by Rosenquist to table further <br /> consideration of the Lametti matter until February 12th at which <br /> time we will hold an informal meeting to be held with adjoining <br /> property owners. Members for: Rosenquist, Spitzer, Ehret and <br /> Peloquin. Motion carried unanimously. <br />
