Yes X No <br />1 I. PREDEVELOPMENT FINANCE FUND PROPOSED PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br />1. Describe the city's/township's goals, objectives and need for the Predevelopment Finance Fund <br />grant and anticipated future commercial and industrial opportunities and other proposed <br />components. Please explain the public benefit of the proposed plan, report or study. <br />The City of Hugo is pursuing the Predevelopment Finance Fund grant in anticipation of the future reuse <br />and restoration for commercial us of the historic Hopkins Schoolhouse. This grant would help to fund <br />an Environmental and Survey Services Assessment. The conclusions of the environmental survey and <br />asbestos and regulated materials survey will release important information about the property to the <br />City and any potential business interested in the property. This study will help move the Hopkins <br />Schoolhouse project on to the next stages of development. <br />2. Has a developer or end user been identified or committed to the proposed site? <br />Currently there are no developers or end users that have committed to the site; however, the city has <br />been approached about the property by several interested parties. <br />
