Hu <br />Avenue North, <br />TO: Bryan Bear, City Administrator <br />of <br />)-O 14669 <br />MN 55038 (651) 762-6300 www.ci.hugo.mn.us <br />FROM: Scott Anderson, Public Works Director <br />DATE: May 2, 2019 <br />SUBJECT: Hiring of Seasonal Public Works Employees <br />Staff is requesting authorization to hire/re-hire seasonal employees for the public works <br />department. In the 2019 General Fund Budget, Council approved funding for six seasonal <br />employee positions. Staff has spoken to several employees from last year who would like to <br />return again this year. As you'll recall, one position is filled by two employees each working <br />part time. Therefore, a total of seven employees are needed to fill the six seasonal positions. <br />Seasonal Public Works Employees assist with mowing, garbage/litter removal, park <br />maintenance, boulevard maintenance and general public works maintenance. <br />The following is a list of the seasonal employees that staff is recommending for hire/re-hiring: <br />Jack Menne <br />Roland Guareschi <br />Marty Schwartz <br />Frank Weiss <br />Daniel Flaherty <br />Paxton Zirpel <br />Zachary Kenoyer <br />Please contact me if you have any further questions or concerns. <br />
