reported on his tabulation of said bids and made his recommendation. <br />After consideration of said bids, Member Marier intro- <br />duced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A WELL <br />FOR WATER`�ORKS IMPROVEMENT NO. 1960-1. <br />BE IT RESOLVED By the Village Council of the Village of Hugo, <br />Minnesota as follows: <br />(1) That it is hereby found, determined and declared that the <br />two lowest bids submitted by responsible contractors for <br />the well portion of Waterworks Improvement No. 1960-1, according to plans <br />and specifications and according to the notice to contractors, are as <br />follows: <br />LOWEST BIDDER PRICE <br />Tri-State Drilling Co. <br />Wayzata, Minnesota $ 6,275.00 <br />SECOISD LOWEST BIDDER <br />Mueller Bros. <br />Gaylord, Minnesota $ 6,835.00 <br />(2) That the contract for said work is hereby awarded to the <br />lowest responsible bidder and the Mayor and Clerk are hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract with said bidder on <br />behalf of the Village upon said bidder furnishing a satisfactory cor- <br />porate surety bond conditioned upon the satisfactory performance of the <br />work according to plans and specifications and otherwise as required by <br />law. <br />(3) That the bid deposits of the two lowest responsible bidders <br />shall be retained by the Clerk and the bid deposits of all <br />other bidders shall be returned forthwith. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by Member Letourneau ; and upon a vote being taken, the <br />following members voted in favor thereof: Maslowski, Burkard, Marier <br />and Le-L-ourneau <br />and the following members voted against the same: None <br />whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted. <br />-3- <br />
