Project Description: The City of Hugo is looking to put together a feasibility study to complete missing trail connections between Highway 61 and Fenway <br />Boulevard along and near 130th Street. There is an existing north -south trail on Fenway Boulevard and there will be a trail constructed in 2019 on 130th <br />Street east of Highway 61. This is part of the alternate alignment identified with the Hardwood Creek Regional Trail Master Plan. The feasibility study will <br />also include a segment of the HCRT. <br />How will you sustain the project/initiative or policy beyond SHIP funding? How <br />many individuals or organizations do you expect to reach through this <br />Hire WSB to prepare the trail feasibilitv study <br />activity? <br />Hire Consultant to undertake a design feasibility study for a trail segment along <br />130th street from Fenway Blvd North to Highway 61 in anticipation of a trail <br />connection to a proposed trail along 130th Street east of 61. This proposed trail <br />will connect new and existing residents east of 61 to the existing trail along <br />Fenway. The study will also include the study of trail segment from the existing <br />Fenway Trail at 130th Street and extending south to connect up with Falcon Court <br />and the future Hardwood Creek Regional Trail to run parallel to the railroad line a! <br />an alternate route for the HCRT. <br />Preliminary design will include a project start-up meeting with the City of Hugo, <br />and potentially the County, to review the project schedule, key timelines and <br />project outcomes. An initial site inventory and analysis will be conducted in order <br />to identify opportunities and constraints, along with review and discussion of <br />previous plans and studies.
