They talked about having strong trail connections between the north and south areas <br />of the park. A large multi -purpose playground with equipment for all ages is desirable. The Commission <br />agreed with Schmidt that a pickleball court would probably be desirable for residents. The court could be <br />multi -purpose and also have a basketball hoop. A large picnic shelter is also desirable given the size of the <br />neighborhood and total reach of the development. <br />Parks Commission directed City Staff to move forward with the partnership and to continue working with <br />Westwood to draft the park site plan. <br />3. Update on YMCA <br />Tennyson informed that the campaign to donate which is held annually for the YMCA is now a year round <br />encouragement. <br />5.
